Putting health data and AI to work in healthcare.

We are developing two solutions: software that controls how medical data leaves a facility, and a platform that gives a radiology department access to AI models from several vendors through a single integration. Each starts with one process and ends with a result that can be assessed.

From data to result
  1. Data leaves the facility

We establish the scope, purpose and recipient of the transfer. The record of the decision stays at the facility.

  2. A model does the work

The study goes to the model suited to the use case, through a single connection to the facility's system.

  3. The result returns to the team

The radiologist or process owner reviews the result where they work.

What we are building

Data for collaboration. AI for practice.

We work with facilities, and also as the supplier of a defined part of the scope for an integrator leading a project. Poland is our first market; we are also developing technology partnerships in Europe.

Product

SafeMed AI

by QuantumMed

Software under development for controlling health data transfers. A transfer policy defines the recipient, purpose, required information and how the data should be prepared and documented. We start with DICOM imaging.

AI in radiology

A platform in development giving access to AI models from several vendors through a single PACS/RIS connection. The department chooses the model for the use case, while integration, billing and support stay with one partner.

Our approach

Process. Decision. Evidence.

This example of sending a study to an external AI service connects a purpose with a decision. A review card helps the team discuss the scope and identify a missing check.

Example card: a study for an AI provider

Process
A selected DICOM series is intended for a specified provider. The source record and the link between study and patient remain at the hospital.
Decision
Text detected in the image requires review. The transfer is held until that review is resolved.
Evidence
Card DEMO-014 records the purpose, the check applied, its result and the role responsible for the decision.
Synthetic example

Decision record

Purpose

Check
Text in pixels: review required
Responsibility
An authorised hospital reviewer

Getting started

One use case and a clear scope.

The first conversation brings the process owner together with people who know the data and systems. We consider the hospital’s existing tools and its suppliers’ responsibilities.

  1. Use case

The task, the current obstacle and the result the team needs.

  2. Scope

Data, systems, the process owner and responsibilities shared with partners.

  3. Evaluation

Agreed criteria, test conditions and the material needed to decide on further work.

Team
